British Soldiers Uniforms Cigarette Cards

The Changing Styles of British Military Uniform

This set is currently in stock

In the early part of the twentieth century the army adopted khaki for operational wear and saved the brightly coloured uniforms for ceremonial occaisons.

'British Soldiers Uniforms' is a complete set of 25 Cigarette Cards first issued in 1901 by Geofrey Philips & Sons.

What is interesting is that it depicts - unusually for the time - some images of the uniforms shown from different perspectives.
